As a registered GreenCircle Salon, we recycle our used color tubes, aerosols cans, used foils, hair color/lightener, spa waste, and electronics, keeping these chemicals and products our of our landfills and waterways. Kevin Murphy uses 100% recycled ocean plastic to package their products, so rest assured that our partners are taking massive strides to help, too. Davines is committed to reducing their carbon footprint through the path of mitigation and compensation of it’s own CO2 emissions. 100% of the energy used to create and package Davines is renewable energy. Much like Kevin Murphy, their packaging is 100% compensated and carbon neutral. Lastly, 1% of every purchase of Davines is donated to a charity to benefit the planet and our communities. Salons and spas need water, as it’s a vital part of our daily services, but it has been estimated that by 2025, two-thirds of the Earth’s water will be stressed. A single salon basin uses an estimated 150 gallons of water per day. As our water becomes depleted, we need to be conscious of our use. Through our partnership with ECOHEADS, we are committed to saving up to 98 gallons of water per basin, and using up to 65% less water than regular salon basin heads, all while softening the water for our guests health.
